Hello crafty friends!
Today I have a cute and fun project to share with you. It's a mini album in the shape of a party hat, full of bright happy colours topped off with a homemade pom-pom.
I love these bite-sized projects that are quick and easy to make. They can house quite a lot of photos of one particular event and are a nice alternative to a scrapbook layout where you might not have enough real estate to include all the photos you want.
This mini album was taught by Paige Evans in one of her PaigePals3 virtual classes. Here is the link to the class if you are interested in making one of your own: Party Hat Mini Album Tutorial
I used an older scrapbooking collection by Echo Park Paper called "Play All Day Boy". Although it's not a birthday collection per se, when I pulled it out I thought the patterned papers and embellishments would lend themselves well to a birthday theme and I love how it turned out. I also used a lot of stickers and ephemera from various collections I had in my stash. And of course machine stitching on each page gives this mini album a homespun look.
Thanks for stopping by! As always, if you have any questions, please leave me a comment below.
Have a wonderful crafty day! 😊
