Backed Flower Cut File & Origami Butterflies Layouts

Hey crafty friends!

Whew! It's been a minute lol. Life has been crazy busy but happy to be here posting again. I have so many crafty-related goals and PHD's (projects half done) so I'm making a concerted effort to carve out some crafty time for myself on a more consistent basis. I definitely want to take advantage of these last few weeks of winter because once the nice weather is here, it will be harder for me to be couped up in my craft room in the basement.

Today, I have two cute layouts to share. These layouts were taught by Paige Evans in her PaigePals3 classes. I believe Paige just released her PaigePals6 classes so I'm a wee bit behind.

Here are the links if you're interested in checking them out:

Backed Flower Cut File & Origami Butterflies Layout Standalone Class

First up is the Flower layout which is great for using up those patterned paper scraps. I really enjoy the process of backing cut files ✀ and the reveal is the best part!

I used Paige's beautiful Splendid Collection. ðŸ’•

I backed the cut file on to Paper 7 with the floral wreath and did some tone-on-tone embellishing.

I absolutely love the bold, beautiful colours in this collection and that cut file is so striking against the floral wreath paper. One of my favourite layouts from all her Paige Pals classes.

In our next class, we created a kaleidoscope of origami butterflies. Super cute and easy to create.

For this layout, I used Paige's Blooming Wild collection and I featured a photo of Paige and I at her Blooming Wild Weekend event in New Jersey from last year. 💖

I loved creating these layouts and I hope this inspires you to create your own versions.

Have a beautiful day friends!
