It's ALL ABOUT YOU with Gina K. and Scrapbook Nerd

Hi folks,

I don't know about you, but I'm a sucker for a beautiful sentiment on a card. My projects this week for the Scrapbook Nerd Design Team all include an endearing sentiment from the All About You stamp set by Gina K. Designs.

I created two 4" x 4" clean and simple cards showcasing two of the beautiful sentiments above as well as these adorable lovebirds from the All You Need is Love stamp set by Gina K. Designs.

The yellow cardstock is from the Schoolyard pack by Lawn Fawn. I cut it to 4" x 8" and scored it down the middle to make a 4" square card. The black matte is Black Onyx cardstock by Gina K. Designs and it's cut to 3.75" square. The white panel is Neenah Classic Crest Solar White cardstock cut to 3.50" square.

I applied Fossilized Amber Distress Oxide Ink through the Crazy Daisy stencil by Gina K. Designs/Thermoweb using a Picket Fence Studio Life Changing Brush, applying medium pressure in the middle and very light pressure towards the outside.

I stamped the lovebirds in Gina K. Amalgam Ink and coloured them using Copic Markers. The colours I used are BG13, BG32, Y35 and Y38. I embossed the hearts and the beaks using a Lawn Fawn Embossing Pen and Wow Embossing Glitter in Clear Sparkle. I fussy cut the images out with a scissor and added them to the front of the card using Gina K. Foam Squares.

The sentiment was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black Ink and heat embossed with Ranger Clear Embossing Powder. The panel was then adhered to the black matte using fun foam and Gina K. Connect Glue.

My second 4" square card uses all the same products and techniques except the card base is Turquoise Sea from Gina K. Designs. I chose to keep this one even more clean and simple by not applying the stencil. I didn't even add jewels to either of these cards. A first for me. :)

My last card is an A2 sized card which took very little time to create. The matte is Lawn Fawn Rainforest cardstock that I stamped with the Gina K. Designs Gauze Background Cling Stamp, Versamark Ink and embossed with Hero Arts White Satin Pearl Embossing Powder.

I then applied Gina K./Thermoweb Glitz Glitter Gel in Turquoise Sea through the Crazy Daisy stencil using the Vicki Boutin Palette Knife and set it aside to dry. I used Thermoweb Pixie Spray to hold the stencil in place. Once it was dry, I heat embossed the sentiment in the bottom corner and adhered it to the matte using fun foam for dimension.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you give these clean and simple cards a try. I found the 4" square cards so quick and easy to complete and they're a super cute size.

If you have any questions, please feel free to leave me a comment below. As always, you can check out the Scrapbook Nerd shop for the products I used today. Or you can use the hyperlinks I've provided.
